We are a 360 production body for dance; we work across live performance, development and research, participatory programmes and dance for film and advertising.

We work with choreographers who enquire deeply into dance’s capacity for reimagining relation and being together. We currently work in collaboration with 10 brilliant choreographers and dance companies. We act as their lead producers.

We deliver project collaborations across commercial, independent, media, community and social-health care contexts - with artists who are part of our portfolio and with a wider network of national and international dance artists, choreographers and specialist practitioners.

We are a team of dance-specific producers and curators. Metal & Water was founded by Nancy May Roberts and brought into being through close co-holding and collaboration with Lauren Wright, Elsabet Yonas and Lucia Fortune-Ely.
